Our renovation team is making great progress on this addition project in Milford. The 800 new square feet on the lower level includes new front door and foyer, cubbies, powder room, and large playroom for the kids. The 800 new square feet on main living level upstairs includes new master suite, home office, and laundry room. Right now we are in the middle of hanging drywall and defining all of these spaces. Work on our future office in Madeira continues… Plumbing and electric trenches have now been filled, all exterior walls have been sprayed with a continuous layer of spray foam to improve the R-2 insulation value of cinderblock walls, and we have painted the entire ceiling white which gives the space a much brighter and more welcoming experience. When you are building in close proximity of other

When you are building in close proximity of other homes, and right up to the buildable setbacks, it is extremely important to “pin your footers”, where a surveyor literally drives a nail into the concrete footer where each corner of the foundation forms should be located. If this is done, you can place a new home exactly where it is supposed to be. Nothing fancy, but no less important… @cincydrainage just finished re-building the detention basin French drain at our Orchard Trail neighborhood in Montgomery. The original install from several years ago had silted in and was no longer percolating water as intended causing perpetuatual standing water; which then resulted in cattails growing and some ducks moving in to make this their home. While we enjoy wildlife, like anyone else, standing water with no fountain is never a good thing, as it will simply breed mosquitoes. Therefore, we brought in Brent and his team to scrape out all of the silt from the bottom of the basin, and give this a fresh start. Each day we continue work on our future office building in downtown Madeira. We have wrapped up masonry work for our much larger window openings wrapping the front of the building. Our exterior plumber is nearing completion of installing catch basins and storm pipes in our parking lot and driveway. Pictured here was our first build on Towhee Lane in Indian Hill (completed late 2021), with subsequent swimming pool and pool house project that we were asked to come back and build last year.
